As a grateful Korean American, I founded Remember727 in 2008 with the mission to honor the Korean War veterans and promote peace on the Korean Peninsula.
After serving as the chief of staff and communications director to US Congressman Charles B. Rangel, I decided to embark on several Journeys to visit every country that participated in the Korean War to thank and interview Korean War veterans.
Between 2017 and 2019, I traveled a total of 132,100 miles across 6 continents in 30 countries that participated in the Korean War (1950-1953) and, in the United States, all 50 states and U.S. Territories of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the American Samoa.
At each stop, I posted on Facebook or recorded live videos to share my Journey about visiting nearly 180 Korean War memorials I personally visited, and the stories of 1,200 veterans I got to hug and kiss.
I will never forget the tears and laughs I shared with my (Angels &) Korean War veteran Grandpas around the world—-who have demonstrated the Greatest Love of All.
Thank you for honoring their memories by visiting this blog. Please share to keep their stories alive!
