15.1 KANSAS (Overland Park)
An estimated 74,000 from the state of Kansas served during the Korean War era. In total, 429 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 100 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Overland Park pays tribute to these heroes.
