15.5 KANSAS (Topeka)
An estimated 74,000 from the state of Kansas served during the Korean War era. In total, 429 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 100 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Topeka pays tribute to these heroes.
