9. UTAH (Salt Lake City)
An estimated 28,000 from the state of Utah served during the Korean War era. In total, 141 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 34 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Salt Lake City pays tribute to these heroes.
