3. IDAHO (Boise)
An estimated 23,000 from the state of Idaho served during the Korean War era. In total, 131 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 23 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Boise pays tribute to these heroes.
