7.2 MONTANA (Butte)
An estimated 22,000 from the state of Montana served during the Korean War era. In total, 137 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 27 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Butte pays tribute to these heroes.
