16.3 MISSOURI (College of the Ozarks)
An estimated 149,000 from the state of Missouri served during the Korean War era. In total, 944 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 196 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located at the College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, pays tribute to these heroes.
