25.1 LOUISIANA (Baton Rouge)
An estimated 96,000 from the state of Louisiana served during the Korean War era. In total, 610 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 144 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Baton Rouge pays tribute to these heroes.
