33. KENTUCKY (Lexington)
An estimated 123,000 from the state of Kentucky served during the Korean War era. In total, 886 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 190 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Lexington pays tribute to these heroes.
