47. DELAWARE (Wilmington)
An estimated 10,000 from the state of Delaware served during the Korean War era. In total, 45 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 11 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Wilmington pays tribute to these heroes.
