An estimated 482,000 from the state of New York served during the Korean War era. In total, 2,373 never returned home from Korea, including 515 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Albany pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten.
