20. NORTH DAKOTA (Bismarck)
An estimated 27,000 from the state of North Dakota served during the Korean War era. In total, 177 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 27 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Bismarck pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten.
