35. OHIO (Dayton)
An estimated 271,000 from the state of Ohio served during the Korean war era. In total, 1,823 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 424 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Dayton pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten.
