44.1 RHODE ISLAND (Providence)

An estimated 34,000 from the state of Rhode Island served during the Korean War era. In total, 145 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 37 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.

This memorial located in the city of Providence pays tribute to these heroes.

See photos of the Memorial and videos of the veterans at https://koreanwarmemorials.com/memorial/providence-ri-united-states/

I was in Providence, RI on July 14, 2018 to July 15, 2018.
