40. VERMONT (Manchester)
An estimated 17,000 from the state of Vermont served during the Korean War era. In total, 94 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 20 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.
This memorial located in the city of Manchester pays tribute to these heroes.
